About Me
Being born into a musical family Panos found himself surrounded by instruments, and from an early age developed a great love for music. Of all the instruments he was most attracted to the guitar. He studied classical guitar, piano, harmony, history of music and got two music diplomas (Altomyrianeios Music School of Sparta)
He continued his studies in modern harmony, jazz guitar and improvisation in Athens, something that led him to discover the joy and art of composition. In 2012 he moved in Berlin where he found fertile artistic environment to experiment and expand his composition ideas. He composed music for theater and participated in several projects until he created his own musical vehicle of expression.

FUSAK
FUSAK is a world jazz band that creates a harmonious dialogue
between innovation and tradition, west and east, while daringly exploring uncharted musical territories. Panos Voulgaris compositions aspire to break down barriers infusing global flavors into the heart of jazz. With either electric or acoustic sounds FUSAK builds bridges of communication across musical genres and languages.

Panos Voulgaris has been teaching classical, acoustic and electric guitar for more than 25 years, both privately and at music schools. The courses are adjusted to the needs of each individual and their musical preferences, whether it is jazz, blues, funk, pop or rock music. He also teaches classical/modern harmony, improvisation and composition.
